Annet N. is 32 years old and lives in the town of Nakifuma in the Mukono region of Uganda. She is married and has three children. Two of her children are currently in school. Annet has had a small retail shop for one year. She also has a second business: motorcycle transport.
To help expand her retail shop business, Annet has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more essential commodities like soap for resale. With the help of the loan from BRAC, Annet hopes to generate greater profits and buy food. In the future, Annet hopes to expand her business.
