A loan of $800 helped to buy clothing, shoes and underwear.

Ana's story

Ana is one of our associates from the Hato Mayor branch, a rural town whose economy depends on agriculture. She sells clothes, shoes and underwear, operating a miscellaneous sales business in her house. She is a 30-year-old single mother of two.

Ana is very excited to be receiving her 10th loan from Esperanza Internacional. She has had her business for around 5 years, and it started thank to her first loan with Esperanza. She is very thankful to have received this loan and she will use it to buy jeans, shirts, blouses, slippers, sandals, underwear and other items to increase her sales. She plans to use her business profits to reinvest in the business and to make some changes in her house.

Ana tells us that the most difficult challenge right now is to study; she wants to complete a postgraduate or masters degree. Ana likes to run and exercise. She is hoping for God to bless her family with a safe life and an improved business. Thank you for supporting this loan!
