Henry, who is 43 years old and residing with his family in Kingstone Village, a slum, has been running his retail shop there for 10 years. He also sells clothes on the same premises. Henry, who also has rental units which earn him extra income, previously baked and sold cakes to earn a living. He says that since he joined Faulu Kenya he has become financially stable. Henry has requested a loan for 60,000 Kes to expand his business premises and hopes to grow his business within five years and employ more people.
