Nelie is 37 years old and has three children who are between the ages of five and 17. Her husband sells shoes. Nelie has been selling tomatoes in the market on a wholesale scale for the past 11 years. This business has enabled her pay school fees for her children and pays her house rent as well. She is requesting a loan to buy more tomatoes to sell and make more profits. She plans to buy a piece of land with the profits she plans to make.
