Pol S., 40, resides in Prey Veng province, Cambodia, an area known as one of the largest rice producing regions in Cambodia.
S. sells groceries, earning an income of US $5 per day. Two of her children are employed in the city, earning an income of US $2 each per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend US $42 on food and US $50 on the other necessary expenses.
S. is requesting a loan of US $1,200 to purchase a tuk tuk for one of her children to start a new business as a tuk tuk driver in the city. ( A tuk tuk is a motorcycle with a passenger cab.) This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
