Sam C., 31, is married and resides in Takeo province, Cambodia, an area known for Pre-angkorean temples. C. is a farmer and raises pigs, earning an income of about $1 per day. Her husband sells coconuts, earning an income of around $3 per day. Each month, the family has to spend $45 on food and $30 on the other necessary expenses. C. is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase pig feed and pigs to raise for sale. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
