This group of women is from the Chaipe District in Paraguay. It has formed from the contact from another group of ladies from the same district. These women have had meetings related to the formation of this group and now they are a total of 15 women workers.



The activities that these ladies are involved with are: running pantries, laundry services, manicure & hair salon services, embroidery design, sale of foods, selling candy, selling jewelry, and running a social pharmacy.



Each member receives an average sum of 500,000 Gs. The purpose of these loans are to purchase goods and inventory required in their respective business, such as fabrics, thread, flour, sweets, sugar, clothing, jewelry, products for hair care, over the counter drugs/pharmaceutical items, etc.

Este comité del Barrio Chaipe ha surgido por contacto de otras señoras de un comité del mismo Barrio, se han realizado las reuniones correspondientes para la conformación, y actualmente el comité esta formado por 15 mujeres trabajadoras.


Las actividades de estas señoras consisten en: despensas, lavandería, manicuras, peluquería, elaboración de bordados, venta de comidas, venta de dulces, venta de ropas, venta de joyas, farmacia social.



Cada integrante recibe en promedio la suma de 500.000 Gs. El destino de estos créditos son para comprar insumos y mercaderías necesarias en sus negocios, tales como: telas, hilos, harinas, panificados, dulces, azúcar, prendas de vestir, joyas, artículos para el cabello, medicamentos, etc.
