Yem B. resides in Battambong province, Cambodia, an area known for quality rice products. B. and his wife are farmers, earning an income of about $2 each per day. Each month, the family has to spend $50 on food and $13 on the other necessary expenses. B. is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase pigs and build a pig pen. This will be his first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
