Noemi 1 & 2 Group
Catalina has come to Esperanza with the goal of growing her business but, also, because it is a way of development for the community. She operates a business where she sells second hand clothes; she buy a big box of clothes (with all kind, blouses, pants, shirts, skirt, tshirt, etc.).
With this loan she intends to increase her inventory. She believes that this will allow her to supply more clients. She will use the profits to save and to address some needs in her family. In the long term she would like to continue growing her business with Esperanza to the point where she can sell more products, reach more clients, and to have enough profits to build her own home and to continuing providing to her children. She especially wants to pay for their studies. Thank you so much for your support!
This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
