Marina R. D. E. is forty-nine years old and she lives in a house that she owns. She lives with her life partner and their two children in Opico in the department of La Libertad. She has a stand in the regional market in the area where she sells fruits and vegetables. Marina has earned a clientele with her great enthusiasm in carrying out her sales and her charisma towards her customers and this has provoked a preference in her clients. Marina doesn't feel like giving her courtesy costs her anything and with it she gains much. She wants to add inventory to her stand and this prompted her to approach Integral (Kiva Field Partner) for a loan which will permit her to purchase more fruit and vegetables, such as red mombin, tomatoes, avocadoes, onions, and other produce. All of this to satisfy the need of all of her clients and at the same time increase her source of income. She collaborates with her husband by earning an inconme for the household and by providing her family with a more dignified life.
