Marina
Marina C. B. is a member of the village bank, “San Martin De Zurite." This bank is located in the village of Zurite in the Anta province of the department of Cusco.

Marina is a 76-year-old widow. She has four children and nine grandchildren and she tells us that her children are already independent. Marina wants to keep participating in the village banking group because it keeps her busy and gives her the strength that she needs to keep working and living. She is a very happy woman and has a good sense of humor.

Marina mainly works as a farmer. Currently her children and grandchildren are actually working alongside her to plant and harvest the crops on her land. She also raises small animals such as pigs, guinea pigs and chickens. Marina has been in the village banking group since the beginning. Back when the group was formed, she would hold the meetings at her house and this is where they are still held today. Marina has been an active member of the group for 12 years now. She plans to use the loan to buy feed for her animals and to purchase more chickens and guinea pigs. She would like to purchase more small animals and animal feed.

Marina appreciates and is grateful for the loan that has been awarded. She promises to be very disciplined about making her payments on time.

La Sra. Marina, es viuda y tiene 76 años de edad, tiene 4 hijos y 9 nietos; la socia nos comenta que ya sus hijos son independientes y que ella desea continuar en el grupo de bancos comunales porque esto la mantiene ocupada y le da fuerzas para continuar trabajando y viviendo, ella es una mujer muy alegre y de buen sentido del humor, la socia tiene como principal actividad la agricultura y aunque en la actualidad los hijos y nietos le ayuden a sembrar y cosechar las tierras de cultivo, ella sigue siendo participe, la socia también cría animales menores, ella cría chanchos, cuyes, pollos, la socia está en el grupo desde el inicia, cuando este grupo se formo se hizo las reuniones en su casa y actualmente lo siguen haciendo aquí, la socia tiene 12 años en el banco como miembro activo, ella desea invertir el préstamo en la compra de alimento para sus animales, y aumentar pollos y cuyes. La socia solicita el préstamo para invertir en la compra de animales menores y alimento.

La socia valora y agradece el préstamo otorgado y se compromete a cumplir con el pago de sus deudas de forma disciplinada.
