Tamaz P. lives in the village of Mukhrani in Kartli Region. He is married and lives with his wife, children and parents. Tamaz’s wife works as teacher in a kindergarten. Tamaz has three children: 7- and 5-year-old sons and a 4-year-old daughter.
Tamaz is a joiner and likes his trade. He often gets orders to design different types of furniture. Along with this, he is also heading the small farm in the family. They have two milk cows and two pigs. They sell dairy products in Tbilisi (capital city of the country). Also the family produces and sells different types of pickled vegetables (marinades). With the requested credit Tamaz will expand the dairy farm. With the first half of the credit, Tamaz will purchase additional milk cows to get more milk and sell more dairy products. The second half will be used to pay for vegetables, to be pickled and sold. The increase in their income will be used for expansion of the pig-farm.
