Vive en casa propia en el distrito de Olmos, una zona agrícola de bastante movimiento comercial que se encuentra situada en la provincia de Lambayeque, a más de una hora y media de la ciudad de Chiclayo. Actualmente, no cuenta con servicios de agua y luz.

Se dedica a la crianza y comercialización de animales menores como ovejas chivos, chanchos y aves de corral. Guarda los animales en corrales ubicados en un terreno cerca de su casa. Santiago compra los animales en los anexos de la zona para luego engordarlos y venderlos en la ciudad de Olmos o enviarlos a la ciudad de Chiclayo. Cuenta con una experiencia de 5 años en este rubro. Desea ampliar su ganado con la compra de más animales y alimento balanceado. Por ello, ha creído conveniente solicitar a Edpyme Alternativa un préstamo de 2000 nuevos soles.
