Wilfred is 37 years old, married and blessed with three children. He operates a cafe, a business he started three years ago. His cafe is located in the Kibera slums so most of his customers are low-income earners. He also works in the evening as a security guard so that he can make enough money to meet his family’s needs. Through Faulu Kenya, he has been able to improve his business and hopes to expand it over the next five years. He has requested 40,000 Kes to buy ingredients such as beans, cooking fat and maize.
