Lucy is a married woman with two children who attend school. She lives in a rental house that has no electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past eight years, Lucy has operated a retail business, selling to her local neighbors. She also operates real estate houses which contribute to her income. Lucy faces major challenges of delayed payments and low sales in her business.
Lucy plans to use this KES 40,000 loan to purchase one sack of sugar, wheat flour and maize flour. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
