Hayat
Hayat is a 58 year old widow who owns a bakery and works on a farm. She lives near Tyre and opened her shop last year. She is the only "saj" (thin pizza) baker in her town. She also makes special "katayef", a Ramadan season sweet.

At the beginning she had financial problems but the fact that she is an expert in her domain and that she works on a farm as well allowed her to provide herself with a more secure living.

This is her first loan. She is requesting a loan from Al Majmoua to buy a bakery machine and tools to open a new branch, as well as for maintenance costs in her shop. In the future, she wishes to open a big bakery and reach a larger number of clients.
