Belina M. is 59 years old, widowed, and has four adult children. She lives in Khashtarak village in the area of Ijevan. Since 1988 Belina has worked at a mineral water factory. She also runs a farm. Her son and her grandchildren help her in this hard work raising cows, pigs, and chickens and growing fruits and vegetables in the garden. With income from farming, Belina and her son meet their family's needs and pay for Belina’s grandchild's education. She is requesting a loan for 800,000 AMD, which she will use to buy raspberry seedlings and fertilizer and to put up a fence around the seedlings. This is Belina's third loan from Nor Horizon and she has always repaid on time.
