Nuevo Diamante 1 & 2 Group
Evelis has come to Esperanza with the goal of growing her business but, also, because it is a way of development for the community. She is not only interested in the money; she cares about the community. She operates a business where she sells household and beauty products. She is associated to a franchise. She sells those products and motivates others to join and go forward.
With this loan she intends to increase her inventory. She believes that this will allow her to supply more clients (other businesses, households and salons) and to distinguish herself by always having what is needed in stock, while providing high quality products. She will use the profits to save and to address some needs in her family. In the long term she would like to continue growing her business with Esperanza to the point where she can sell more products, reach more clients, motivate others and eventually have enough profits to purchase her own home and to continuing helping her children. She especially wants to pay for their studies. Thank you so much for your support!
This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
