Santos Juan
Mr. Santos is a young, hard-working man who lives in the area of lower Pampahasi which is 25 minutes from downtown La Paz. He and his wife Angélica have two school-aged children. Santos has a public transportation service and uses a 9-passenger minivan. He owns the vehicle and is affiliated with the transportation union.

Because of his seniority in the union, Santos was appointed chief of the minivan group. He plans to use the loan to cover vehicle maintenance costs because he is beginning to notice some vehicle failure. Angélica sells clothing in the city of Cochabamba where she travels once a week (Fridays), returning home the next day to care for her children. They live with other family members and their biggest dream is to buy their own house.

El Sr. Santos es una persona joven y muy trabajadora, vive en la zona de bajo Pampahasi ubicada a veinticinco minutos al este del centro de la ciudad de la paz. Él y su esposa Angélica tienen dos hijos en edad escolar. Santos se dedica al transporte público con un minibús de 9 pasajeros, el cual es de su propiedad, y esta afiliado al sindicato de transportes. Debido a la antigüedad que tiene santos en su sindicato fue nombrado jefe de grupo de minibuses, con el dinero del crédito realizara mantenimiento a su vehículo ya que esta presentan do algunas fallas. Angélica se dedica a la venta de ropa por menor en la cuidad de Cochabamba, viaja una vez por semana (el día viernes) y vuelve al día siguiente para atender a sus hijos. Ellos viven en la casa familiar y uno de sus mayores anhelos es poder comprar una casa propia.
