Epifania is a married mother and grandmother of 76 years of age. She is the oldest member of Lona Fagaloa Centre. Her children are supporting her business, however Epi is one of those mothers who has always believed in doing things on her own. With her loans she has improved her business and she has also improved many things in her home, including renovating her home and building a flushing toilet for her family. This loan will allow her to improve her grocery business by buying more inventory.
South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) improves conditions for families living in poverty by providing accessible credit, training, and guidance to help them start, grow and maintain micro-businesses, build assets, finance home improvements, and afford to educate their children. 99% of SPBD’s loans go to women, who can borrow in groups to guarantee one another rather than put up collateral.
