Remedios, a married woman living in the town of Sto. Niño, South Cotabato, has four children, the oldest of whom is 26 years old. Remedios is engaged in both farming and hog-raising business. She mainly manages the fattening of the pigs prior to selling them to the market, while her husband maintains their rice farm. Remedios will use the loan to purchase seeds, fertilizers and feed. She hopes for a better income.
