A loan of $725 helped to buy pots and clay piggybanks.

Esperanza's story

Esperanza, 41, lives with her husband and four children in her own house. For the last six years she has sold clay items like pots, kitchen ware, jugs, and glasses as well as piggybanks in assorted designs and colors. She travels weekends to other nearby cities to sell and at the beginning of each week she stocks up with new merchandise. One of her daughters always helps her during her sales trips. On her free days she also sells natural medicines among her neighbors. As time has gone by the business has produced good profits that make it possible for her to help her husband with household expenses. Because of this she wants to increase her working capital.

This is her second loan with MFP. She is very happy to know that she can count on financial assistance since she has always shown herself to be responsible with her payments. In addition, she enjoys being part of a communal bank because all the members are responsible and very mutually supportive people. She thanks all those people who will fund the loan she’s asking for that will be so useful for her business’ progress. She will use the requested loan to buy more pots and clay piggybanks.
