Pedro Emmanuel
Pedro Emmanuel I. is Mrs. María Concepción S.’s oldest son. They live together in a house Pedro acquired through much effort. Since they both are employed they want to increase security expanding the wall that will close off the front of their house because the house is unattended all day; they go to work always concerned that someone could break into their house and this is why they want to finish building the wall. Their house will be more secure.

They are grateful to the institution for having granted the loan that will help them and support their effort to carry out their much wanted project.

About Housing Loans

Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
