Gennadyi is married and has a son and 2 daughters. He grows early vegetables, tomatoes, and radishes and owns a vineyard. Gennadyi has 9 constructed greenhouses. He has already invested 200,000 UAH in his enterprise, which he has operated for 12 years. His annual expenses on seeds and plastic film amount to 25,000 UAH.
Gennadyi is seeking a 15,000 UAH loan to reconstruct his greenhouses into vineries (greenhouses for growing vines). He is planning to buy plastic film and fertilizers to refurbish the greenhouses, making them higher and more spacious, and to plant 800 vines. There are few vinedressers in the region. Gennadyi is hoping to continue investing in this business since vine prices remain high during the whole season, thereby generating additional income.
