Isaac K. is 30 years old and lives in the town of Tororo, in the Mbale region of Uganda. He is married and has one child who is not in school. Isaac has a stationary shop, which he has had for less than one year. To help expand his business, Isaac has requested a loan of 2,000,000 Ugandan shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase more photocopy paper and exercise books for resale. With the help of this loan from BRAC, Isaac hopes to generate greater profit and buy food. In the future, Isaac hopes to expand his business.
