Paul, a 50-year-old married man with eight children, lives in his own house in Kasese, Uganda. A farmer for the last 20 years, he started by growing mangoes and later expanded to bananas and oranges. His hardships include climatic changes and high costs for pesticides, labour and transport. Paul's vision is to have a well-established crop farm and be able to fully educate his children. He needs this loan to pay for labour, pesticides, and mulch for his banana plantation.
