Catherine is 36 years old and married with three children. She has been running a salon for 13 years and also does livestock farming to boost her income. Catherine has witnessed a lot of growth in her business since she joined Kiva partner, Faulu Kenya. This is because she has been saving her money with Faulu Kenya and has previously taken out a loan that she used to boost her business. In the future, she hopes to expand her salon and start to employ people. She has requested a loan of 40,000 KES to buy hair oil, hair gel and shampoo.
