Mrs. Tat P., age 40, manages a stand that sells rice, food, and soft drinks. She earns about $5. Her husband is a mechanic and earns about $5 a day. The couple has three children, all of which are students. She is requesting a loan of $1000 to expand product offerings at her stand and to purchase an air-pump machine for her husband’s business. They believe this will lead to an increase in sales revenue at the wife’s stand, and increase the range of services offered by the husband’s business. They plan to use the increased income to fund their children’s education. He husband is pictured in the photo as she was not available.
