Eoun C. resides with her family in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantations.
C. and her husband are farmers and sell rice, earning an income of US $3 each per day. Each month, the family has to spend US $37 on food and US $7 on the other necessary expenses.
C. is requesting a loan of US $600 to purchase horses to transport rice and other products to sell. By doing so, she will be able to generate more income.
In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
KREDIT Ltd. is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia. The organization empowers the economically-active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services.
