The group SABALY has five members who are married women. They all have around 42 year-old and about 4 children. Most of them live within polygamous families in Kamalen Sirakoro district in the city of Sikasso. Sikasso is the third administrative region of Mali. The women are applying to their twelfth loan with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso to meet the needs of their clients. Their previous loans have been paid off. In this group of women, Madam Marietou S. sells fish to men and women. She is planning on buying 75Kg of fish with the loan. She gets her supplies at Sikasso's main market. She sells fish for cash at Medine's market in Sikasso and with her family in Kamalen Sirakoro. She plans of making a monthly profit of 55.000CFA. A part will be use to pay her family's daily expenditures, the other part will be saved.

SABALY est un regroupement de 5 femmes mariées, ayant une moyenne d’âge de 42 ans et ont en moyenne 4 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles polygames à Kamalen Sirakoro, Sikasso 3ème région administrative du Mali.
Elles sont à leur douzième collaboration avec l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso afin de satisfaire le besoin de leur clientèle, les prêts passés ont été bien dénoués. MARIETOU S. fait le commerce de poissons dans ce groupe .Elle compte acheter avec son prêt 75kg de poissons. Elle s’approvisionne au grand marché de Sikasso. Elle les revend au comptant au marché de MEDINE à Sikasso et en famille à Kamalen Sirakoro à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel moyen de 55.000 FCFA dont une partie est épargnée et l’autre utilisée pour les dépenses quotidiennes de la famille.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. Kiva lenders’ funds will enable Soro Yiriwaso to expand its outreach and target even more underserved Malians involved in business and agriculture.
