Leiwinie's story
Leiwinie, 30, lives on one of the outer islands of North Efate, where the modes of transportation are boats and trucks, both of which require gas to function. This increases the interest in starting a business in the fuel market because the demand is great.
Leiwinie is a mother of two, both of whom attend school. Her husband is a seasonal worker, and she sells gas to make ends meet.
She launched her business two years ago with the aim of meeting her family's day to day needs. Her dream is to build, expand and maintain her business. Her current objective is to increase her fuel supply to meet the customer demand. However, she is unable to achieve her plan due to financial constraints.
Leiwinie is requesting a loan to pay for fuel drums. With the earned income, she will pay for household needs and her children's school expenses, and put some into savings. Through this funding, she is inspired to grow her business, provide quality service to her customers and secure a brighter future for her children.
