Ales's story

Ales, 57, is a widow and mother to seven children, two of whom attend school. She lives with her children in their settlement south of Efate, which is about a 13-minute drive from town. She is currently earning money by sewing and selling local clothing.

She launched her business 5 years ago, with the aim of meeting her family's daily fundamental needs. Her dream is to upgrade and sustain her business. Her current objective is to increase her outfit supply to match the clientele's demand. However, she is financially strained.

Ales is requesting a loan to purchase needles, thread, and fabric. The business proceeds will be used to pay for her children's education, home basics, and future savings. Through this financing, she will be able to expand her business and provide a better future for her children.
