Jithada Dakawa Group is a group of four (4) members who came together in 2021. The first person on the right-hand side is the chairperson for the group. Her name is Njema, and she is 60 years old, a wife and a mother of three children. She deals on paddy farming on an irrigation scheme in the village. Njema has committed himself to supporting her family through hard work and determination.
Njema is seeking a loan from Kiva lenders that she will use to buy agricultural inputs, cultivate and pay for two hired laborers. The same loan will assist her in covering the transportation of harvested paddy from her farm to the storage area.
