Jenny's story

Jenny, 53, is a kind and polite mother to five children, one of whom attends school. She is a widow and lives with her children in their village south of Efate, which is roughly a 10-minute journey to town. She currently earns money by selling fresh kava juice.

She started her business with the aim to meet her family's basic household needs. Her dream is to start another business so that she doesn't rely solely on this one for revenue. She is currently planning to enhance her kava juice production to fulfill consumer demand. However, she is experiencing financial difficulties.

Jenny is requesting a loan to pay for raw kava bags. The revenues from the business will be used to pay for household bills, children's school tuition, and future savings. With this cash, she is able to expand her business and ensure a bright future for her children.
