Lina

Lina, 37, is the mother of three children, aged 18, 16, and 13. She lives with her partner and children in an urban area that is about a 10-minute drive from town. Her partner is a security guard, and all of her children go to school. She supports herself by operating a kava business.

Lina self-motivated herself to start her business seven years ago with the goal of giving her children a better life. Her ambition is to ensure that all of her children complete their education and obtain better careers in the future. Her current goals include purchasing large bags of raw kava to produce more kava juice to sell. However, she is financially challenged.

She is requesting a loan to purchase bags of raw kava. The income earned from her business will be used to purchase household needs, children's school expenses and save for the future. Through this funding, Lina is empowered to grow her business and provide a brighter future for her children.
