Sia's story

Sia is a 59-year-old woman who runs a business of selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has 4 years of experience with this business.

Sia works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and banana. She thought she would earn more income if she planted more banana and taro. In order to do this, Sia needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tube (seedlings), chemicals, a bag back sprayer and a chainsaw to help her run the business. She even delivered her products to the flea market by using the bus.

She comes from a family in which no one works to earn a living. Only her business will help her family's needs. Her dream is that, one day, her family will be in a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2022 to seek finance for her business. Sia realized that your support will be a big help for her and for her family to develop through financing.
