Tou

Tou, 43, is a hardworking and married mother of four, ages 19, 12, 8 and 7. She lives with her husband and children in a rural location, which is roughly 11 minutes from town. Her husband is a seasonal worker, and all of her children attend school. She sells her garden products at the local market to earn a livelihood.

Her goal when she launched her firm seven years ago was to provide for her family's basic needs. She wants to build her family a permanent house. Her current objective is to purchase more seedlings to plant and agricultural tools to assist with the labor-intensive work in order to increase her garden harvests. But because of financial limitations, she is unable to accomplish her aim.

Tou is requesting a loan to purchase seedlings and agricultural tools. With the earnings from her business, she will pay for her household needs, children's school fees and save for the future. Through this funding, she is able to grow her business and secure a better future for her children.
