Madlen

Madlen is 41 years old and mother of four, ages 22,18,13 and 5. She is married and her husband is a ship captain. She and her family reside in a rural community, which is about 12-minute ride to town. All of her children are in school. She sells frozen chicken wings and juices to earn a livelihood.

She is new in this business, with the aim of meeting her family's basic household necessities. Her dream is to grow her business and sustain it. Her current objective is to increase her chicken wing and juice supplies to match the customer demand. However, she is financially challenged.

Madlen is requesting a loan to purchase frozen chicken wings and bottles of juice. With the profits from her business, she will cover her household expenses, children's school tuitions and save for the future. This financing enables her to expand her business and secure a promising future for her children.
