Ny S. is 27 years old. She currently resides in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. She is married to 26-year-old Chhear Kimchoeurn, who is a sewing worker. The couple is blessed with a young child, who is not yet enrolled in school.
To earn a living, Ny S. sells grilled beef to passersby in the village. She will be using this loan as capital for a new business -- raising fish in the pond in front of her house. From this, she will be able to improve her family's standard of living.

The organization provides microfinance services to the poor, particularly women, in urban and rural areas. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the outreach of HKL’s financial services to a greater number of clients in rural areas of Cambodia.
