Walda is 36 years old living with her husband and their five children. Her husband works transporting sand in a dump truck. She tells us quite candidly that she and her husband get along together very well.

She will use the requested loan to increase working capital buying wool.

La A.C. “SOFIA DÁVILA” es un grupo que iniciará el segundo ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana. Está compuesta por ocho mujeres.

La asociación comunal “SOFIA DÁVILA” organizó su mesa directiva de la siguiente manera: como presidenta, la señora Walda (este es su segundo ciclo en ese cargo), también se encuentra la tesorera la señora Primitiva y como secretaria de actas la señora Constancia. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados, tienen que ver con el comercio, con los servicios y la producción. Entre esos negocios tenemos: venta de verdura, tienda de venta de carne, tejido de mantas, costura, tejido de camas, carnicería, tienda de barrio.

En el caso de la señora Walda, presidenta de la asociación comunal, indica que actualmente tiene como negocio el tejido de mantas. La señora Walda trabaja en este rubro desde hace 30 meses. Las ventas son realizadas por menor en la feria de la Zona 16 de Julio, de manera ambulante, los días jueves y domingo. También, de esta feria compra la materia prima para las mantas.

Doña Walda es una mujer de 36 años de edad, vive con su pareja y sus cinco hijos. El esposo trabaja trasladando arena en una volqueta, la señora comenta con confianza que su pareja y ella se llevan bien. El crédito que ha solicitado será destinado para incrementar el capital de trabajo y comprar lana.
