Yessenia's story
Yessenia, 46 years old, lives with her family in the Tela region, in the department of Atlántida. For 14 years she has made a living selling food from her own home. She has always been a shopkeeper.
She is requesting a loan from ODEF for the quantity of 23,000 lempiras ($950 USD) to invest in the purchase of meat, grains, vegetables, condiments, flour and fruit. This loan will help her to increase sales as she will have a better supplied business with a greater variety of dishes to satisfy her customers.
Her goal is to grow her business and expand into other regions.
