Nelia is 55 years old and lines in the town of Surallah with her family. She makes a living by growing rice, which she sells in a local market. She is eager to work hard and is committed to improve her family's living conditions. Nelia joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her life and ability to engage in business. She has successfully repaid a loan from CEVI and is applying for a new one, for 8,000 PHP, to buy fertilizers such as manure for her farm.
