Almah's story
Almah is a 57-year-old woman who is married with five children. She is from Western Province in the Solomon Islands but she lives with her family in the capital town Honiara, Solomon Islands.
She runs a small marketing business selling reef fish at the market to earn a living.
Almah has requested a loan to pay for an additional cooler, scale, ice cubes and plastic bags for her fish to assist her in running her business.
She will use her profit to meet her family’s financial needs and grow her business. She joined SPBD in 2013.
