Prak L. is married and resides with her husband and three children in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. L. is a traditional doctor, earning an income of $3 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $100 on food and $10 on the other necessary expenses.
L. is requesting a loan of $700 to pay for the children’s school fees. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her sixth loan from CREDIT, a longstanding Kiva partner.
KREDIT Ltd. is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia. The organization empowers the economically-active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services.
