Ruth's story
Ruth is a 31-year-old, single woman with no children. She is from Malaita Province in Solomon island but she now lives with her family in the capital town, Honiara, in Solomon island.
She runs a small market business selling betel nut and fruit leaf, to earn a living.
Ruth requested a loan to pay for additional sleeve matches, umbrellas, trays, table and calculators to assist her in running her business.
She will use the anticipated profits to meet her family’s financial needs, and grow her business. She joined SPBD in 2022.
