Chourn L., 37, resides with her family in Siem Reap province, Cambodia, an area known for angkorean temples. L. is a farmer and produces traditional baskets to sell, earning an income of USD 2.5 day. Each month, the family has to spend USD 15 on food and USD 30 on the other necessary expenses. L. is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase two cows to raise for sale. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her first from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
