Sourng S., 32, is married and resides with her two children in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantations. S. is a housewife while her husband is a recycler, earning an income of about $10.90 per day to help cover the family expenses. Each month, the family has to spend $63 on food and $30 on the other necessary expenses.

S. is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase more recyclable materials to resell. In the future, she would like to use the additional income to repair her house. This will be her second loan from CREDIT, a long standing Kiva partner.
