She is asking for the Kiva loan to increase the business' capital for the expansion of the restaurant by purchasing large quantities of food items to sell to its clients and to also increase their ability to save money. She hopes that with these savings, she will be able to support her family's needs and build her own home. She is a member of the community group "Rima."

Esperance N. est une commerçante âgée de 30 ans qui habite la commune de Rugombo de la Province de Cibitoke à l’Ouest du Burundi. Elle tient un restaurant dans le centre de négoce de Rugombo depuis 3ans alors qu’elle pratiquait le commerce de produits alimentaires avant de commencer ce métier. Elle a fait ses études jusqu’au niveau de l’école primaire en 6e année. Elle est divorcée et mère de 2 enfants âgés de 11 pour la fille ainée et de 10 ans pour le garçon. Elle arrive au 7e cycle dans le crédit Communautaire avec Turame.

Elle demande le crédit Kiva pour accroitre son capital pour l’expansion de son restaurant en achetant de grandes quantités d’articles de consommation à revendre à ses clients et ainsi pouvoir accroitre ses économies. Elle espère qu’avec les économies réalisées avec ce credit, elle sera à mesure de subvenir aux besoins familiaux et pouvoir construire sa propre maison
