Criselda S. is from the village of Naggasican Santiago City. She is 30 years old. Criselda is married and has one school-age child. To make a living, Criselda owns and operates a business making and selling food. The main source of income for the business comes from making and selling street food and frozen food. Criselda has been engaged in her business for over three years and earns approximately 4,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2010, Criselda joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Criselda has successfully repaid a previous loan of 7,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase raw ingredients needed to make products to sell. Criselda is requesting a new loan of 12,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase additional inventory and working capital. This loan will be the second loan taken out by Criselda from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand it.
