The Estrellas Group has a board of directors; the president is Ms. Juana, the treasurer is Ms. Adela, and the secretary is Ms. Olimpia. The group members partake in several types of businesses: clothing sales, general store, potato sales, jacket sales, menswear (suits), minibus driver, vegetable sales, hardware sales, and potato and freeze-dried potato sales.


Ms. Juana, president of the microfinance group, indicates that she has been a part of the Estrellas Group for 3 years. She is a 40-year-old married mother of five. She currently sells vegetables for a living in the 16 de Julio Market, and in the Ex-tranca Market. For now, she works alone.


This loan will be used to purchase merchandise.

La A.C. “ESTRELLAS” iniciará el ciclo número catorce en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal de Panamericana. Está compuesta por ocho integrantes, un varón y siete señoras. La asociación comunal “Estrellas” está dirigida por una mesa directiva , a la cabeza la presidenta, la señora Juana, como tesorera la señora Adela y como secretaria de actas, la señora Olimpia. Los negocios que las integrantes de la banca comunal llevan adelante son variados: venta de ropa, venta de abarrotes, comerciante de papa, venta de chamarras, ropa de varón (Ternos), chofer de Trufi, venta de verduras, comercial – ferretería y venta de papa y chuño.

La señora Juana, presidenta de la asociación comunal, indica que forma parte de la A.C. “Estrellas” desde hace 3 años. La señora Juana tiene 40 años edad, está casada, tiene 5 hijos, el negocio que desempeña actualmente es la venta de verduras, actividad que realiza en la Feria 16 de Julio y la Feria de la Ex - tranca, por ahora trabaja sola.
El crédito de este ciclo será destinado a la compra de mercadería.
Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta el crédito.
